Privacy policy

Who we are

Pilates with Nicola provides Pilates classes in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire and online. This policy explains what information the website handles and how booking data is treated.

The website address is https://pilateswithnicola.com. Questions about this policy can be raised by phone on 07786 365059.

Information this website collects

The marketing pages do not ask you to create an account or submit a form. If you call or text, Nicola receives the details you choose to share so she can answer your question.

Class booking, passes, and payments run through Gymcatch, a separate booking service embedded on the timetable page. Gymcatch collects the account and payment details needed to book. Their own privacy policy applies to that data.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel keeps technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. Those logs are used to keep the site available and secure, and they are not used to build an advertising profile.

Why information is used

Personal information is used only where there is a reason to do so: to provide a class you have booked, because you have asked us to contact you, because it is needed to run the business, or because the law requires it.

Information is kept only for as long as those purposes, including legal, tax, and dispute-resolution duties, require.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you can ask what personal information is held about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, subject to legal duties to keep some records.

• The right to access, update, or delete information held about you.
• The right to rectification.
• The right to object.
• The right to restrict processing.
• The right to data portability.
• The right to withdraw consent, where consent was the basis for processing.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The timetable page loads Gymcatch, which may set cookies so booking, login, and your basket keep working.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking them may stop the timetable from remembering you or completing a booking.

The previous WordPress site used a generic privacy template that mentioned Google advertising cookies. This version of the site does not run advertising tags.

Children

The website is not aimed at children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Class suitability for younger students should be discussed with Nicola directly.
